Annotatsiya
The heat capacity C of Kr–n16O2 solid solutions is investigated in the temperature range 0.5–10 K for oxygen concentration n varying between 0.26 and 10 mol.% under equilibrium vapor pressure. The contribution ΔC(T) to heat capacity due to spin-rotational degrees of freedom of O2 molecules is separated. The ΔC(T) peak observed at low impurity concentrations (n=0.26 mol.%) near 1 K is very close to the ΔC(T) peak of the solution Ar–0.13 mol.% l6O2. The experimental results are compared with theoretical models. At higher oxygen concentrations, the glass-like behavior of Kr–O2 solutions is less pronounced as compared to Kr–N2 solutions. An explanation of this difference is also given.
