Annotatsiya

It is found that the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the high-frequency signal generated by a non-Josephson oscillation of the electrical potential in the nonequilibrium region of phase-slip centers have a shape corresponding to a nonlinear resonance circuit distinguished by a low frequency (∼107−108 Hz) lying in the region of radiowaves. Calculations made by using the model proposed by Kadin, Smith, and Skocpol showed that the observed resonance is due to the excitation of low-frequency collective plasma oscillations about a phase-slip center. Thus, first experimental information is obtained about the existence of these oscillations predicted earlier in theoretical works.
