This article is focused on the geopolitical views of the renowned German scientist, Friedrich Ratzel. The study analyzes how Ratzel’s ideas link the growth and development of states to geographic space, population, and natural resources, and discusses the relevance of his theories for understanding the spatial and political dynamics of states.
