VALUE OF THE LEUKOCYTES' INDEX OF INTOXICATION IN EVALUATION OF SEVERITY OF UPPER URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS

96 patients with infection of the urinary tract were examined and treated. In a comparative aspect of two representative groups of patients with urinary tract infection, the leukocytes' index of intoxication was determined. It was found that in patients before the start of treatment, the pulse and temperature are within the normal range, but the leukocytes' intoxication index was increased 1.6 times in comparison with the norm. After the start of treatment, there was a slight increase in heart rate, the temperature did not change, and the leukocytes’ index of intoxication increased 1.7 times compared to the norm.
