Analysis of vertical movements of the earth's surface in the zone of intersection between Karjantau and Tavaksay faults of the Western Tien-Shan

This article presents an analysis of vertical movements of the Earth’s surface within the intersection zone of the Karjantau and Tavaksay fault systems in the Western Tien Shan. The study is based on tachometric measurements conducted in 2016-2017 and precise leveling data obtained in 1979-1980. A comparative analysis of these datasets was performed to identify long-term deformation patterns. The results reveal characteristic changes in vertical surface movements over a 36-year period, providing new insights into the geodynamic behavior of this tectonically active region.
