Abstract In this paper, we study the method of digital image processing as a game task with distributed parameters. The possibilities of formulating digital processing as a differential game of the Dirichlet problem for the Poisson equation are indicated. Replacing the differential game with a discrete game with boundary conditions, sufficient conditions are obtained for the possibility of completing the pursuit. In solving the pursuit problem, Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind are used.
