Study of Efficiency of Functioning of Traffic Management Algorithms in Telecommunication Networks

In this paper, we propose using the power criterion, known in the control theory as the sensitivity of the system, to evaluate the efficiency of the functioning of various traffic management methods in networks and the influence of the main system parameters on the characteristics. Numerical calculations of link models and network packet transport network according to the sensitivity criterion were conducted. The proposed sensitivity analysis method can be used in network synthesis problems to select the best option, when the design results in several network options that are quite close in their characteristics.
