AROMATIZATION OF C1-C4-ALKANES WITH HSZ CATALYSTS OF DIFFERENT COMPOSITIONS

In this work, we investigated catalytic aromatization of hydrocarbons C1-C4 in a steel reactor with an internal diameter of 12 mm, at normal atmospheric pressure, in the range of 550-650 0C, at a volume velocity of the reactant mixture of 175-350 ml/min and under conditions where the contact time is 0.5-17.0 sec. The acidic properties of the catalysts were tested by thermogrammed ammonia desorption. Aromatic hydrocarbons (MoO3)x∙(ZnO)y∙(ZrO2)z∙(B2O3)k are formed from hydrocarbons C1-C4 with maximum productivity in the catalyst.
