Annotatsiya

The old-method and new-method movements of the ulema, which appeared in Bukhara at the beginning of the 19th century, by the end of the century officially, began to be called Jadids and Kadimists. These two groups adhered to different approaches to the political, social and economic issues of the state, and under the influence of the first government of the Russian Empire, and then the Soviets, they reached armed clashes. So, if during the reign of the Emir, the ulemahs tried to physically exterminate the Jadids, then in the first years of the existence of the Bukhara People's Soviet Republic, a group of ulemahs was shot by the Jadids. This article analyzes the issues of the final stage of the struggle between Jadids and Ulemahs.
