It was found that the electrical conductivity of cotton fibers undoped and doped with iodine and KMnO4 increases exponentially with increasing temperature. Infrared quenching and long-term relaxation of the photoconductivity of cotton fibers doped with iodine were detected. For the first time, it was found that with small doses of UV irradiation of silkworm gren, the quality of silk fibers improves, and with large doses it worsens
