Problems of improving the legal regulation of conflict of interests in the public civil service

AbstractThis article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the legal nature of conflicts of interest and the problems of legal regulation. In the experience of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World, effective mechanisms for preventing conflict of interests scientifically researched. In addition, the scientific views of scientists and current practices are studied, and theoretical ideas, suggestions and conclusions aimed at improving the legal regulation of conflict of interests are proposed. The article also provides a scientific and legal assessment of the causes of conflicts of interest in the public andprivate sectors, as well as commercial conflicts. The system of income and expenditure declaration is described asone of the key mechanisms in minimizing corruption and its other manifestations in the activities of civil servants. Bu identifying priorities for the development of legislation in Uzbekistan, positive solutions are advanced.
