AbstractThis article is dedicated an important approach in education, particularly in foreign language learning. The traditional methods of teaching English as a second language have drawbacks. In this regard, constructivist ways of teaching may fill the gaps. The literature on constructivism in foreign language education was given in this chapter. After its definition, several major theories and approaches of constructivism were provided.
