Some Legal and Ecological Aspects of Improving the System of Environmental Control in Irrigated Areas

Environmental control is an important legal measure that ensures the rational use of nature and protection of the environment from harmful effects. According to the Regulation On the procedure for state environmental control, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 5, 2014 №216, state environmental control is carried out by the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and special authorities. According to it, the special authorized bodies for environmental control include: “State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, Ministry of Health, State Committee for Industrial Safety, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Water Resources, Veterinary state committee, State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre, State Inspectorate for Plant Quarantine under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and others”[1]
