ON THE STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF WORD FORMATION IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

This article summarizes the ideas about word formation in Uzbek linguistics, the attitude to word\nformation and related theoretical views. The article describes the problems of word formation in\nUzbek linguistics in seven paragraphs, as well as methods of word formation, active and inactive\nword formation, including criteria for word formation, word-forming components, and their\ntheoretical basis. Examples from modern Uzbek literature show that the formation of new words by\naffixation and composition is in full swing. Special attention is paid to the method of reduplication of\nword formation, active and inactive word-forming affixes, their possibilities in word-formation today\nare described in detail. In Uzbek linguistics, there is a personal approach to problematic issues related\nto word formation.\n
