Statement of the Problem of Forming and Setting the Parameters of the Terms Linguistic Variable

This article is devoted to the choice of the test criteria aimed at assessing the adequacy of the constructed model to a real object. The form representation of the membership functions to the terms of the corresponding linguistic variables is chosen and theoretically substantiated. It was revealed that one of the factors that has a strong influence on the degree adequacy of the linguistic model to the object of diagnostics is the setting parameters for the formation of terms accessories functions of the corresponding linguistic variable. The use of the gradient method of steepest descent for the solution of the problem to automatic adjustment with the parameters of the terms accessories functions in order to achieve the maximum adequacy of the designed model to the real object has been selected and theoretically substantiated.
