AbstractThe article is devoted to the current problem of the formation of cognitive interest of schoolchildren in literature lessons. This article discusses various methods of activating the mental activity of students in the lessons of literary reading. Practical recommendations are presented to increase the interest of students in reading, to the artistic word of the writer. Fragments of literature lessons using interactive methods are described.
