The significance and role of political communication in the political system

Abstract. The article tells about the role and significance of political communication and its place in today’s political system. The role of political communication in influencing on political processes, forming social mind and using it properly is analyzed in the paper. Peculiar qualities of horizontal and vertical political communication systems, the importance of communication channels in prospective modernization of the society and the scientific decisions of foreign scientists on these topics are, also, reviewed.
