This article provides information on the zoomorphic cults of Ustrushana, since the majority of its population were herders, the cult of the ram occupied a special place in the beliefs of the ancient inhabitants of Ustrushana. Traces of ritual actions and representations associated with the veneration of this animal were revealed during archaeological excavations on the territory of Ustrushana. The formation of various zoolatric concepts in the beliefs and in the spiritual life of the pastoralist population was closely related to their lifestyle and natural habitat, where the breeding of small ruminants was of great importance. Therefore, the symbolic images of a ram or some of its bones were endowed with different meanings and the belief that they would bring wealth, fertility, health and bring abundant offspring. As archaeological materials show, the image of a ram served as amulets protecting the owner from the effects of various evil forces. At the same \n\ntime, the cult of the ram - the producer, which persisted for many centuries, was of particular importance.\n\n
