The cognitive semantics of onomastics in the sphere of modern linguistics and literature study

Abstract. The text linguistics and analysis of vocabulary are the directions getting more and more interest among researchers recent years. Intra-linguistic typology is developing creating opportunities for effective study of general and particular aspects of vocabulary. The article tries to highlight linguistic features of proper names and makes analysis of the function of proper names.
