Phylogenetic identification of trichoderma sp_uzb strain by morphological and molecular genetic methods

Abstract: In previous studies, Trichoderma sp_Uzb isolate isolated as a cellulolytic active and protein synthesizer was morphologically and culturally identified as T. harzianum by the Rifai identifier. But it was later studied by G. J. Samuels that this fungus was also morphologically compatible with the genus Trichoderma asperellum. To confirm species identification, the nucleotide sequence of the ITS part 1 and 2 of the Trichoderma sp_Uzb rDNA gene was sequentially identified and molecularly genetically identified as T. asperellum.
