Features of the state of cerebral hemodynamics in patients with Vertebrobasilar insufficiency

Abstract: The paper presents the results of our own studies of the state of cerebral (arterial and venous) hemodynamics during duplex scanning of neck vessels, transcranial Doppler ultrasonography of cerebral vessels in patients with VBI. In the study of venous circulation, characteristic of patients with venous encephalopathy, there was an increase in the diameter of the internal jugular vein, an increase in blood flow velocity and a decrease in the pulsation index of the Rosenthal basal vein, an increase in the LBFV and the diameter of the vertebral vein.
