THE FACTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE FORMATION OF SOCIAL RELATIONS IN SOCIETY

This article is devoted to investigate the role of social media in the genesis of social relations,\nin which social media is analyzed as an important tool of social relations in the society. Theoretical\nand methodological approaches to the concept of social media in the social sciences and humanities,\nthe differences between social media and traditional media, the pros and cons of social media in\nforeign research are also revealed. At the same time, the article discusses the digitalization of society,\nthe trends of changing social relations in the background of the intensification of the process of\nvirtualization, the formation of electronic culture and its components. Information and psychological\ntechnologies used in social media and their impact on the individual, including the minds of the youth,\ntheir social consequences, various approaches to the formation and monitoring of the social media\nsystem are analyzed. Through these analyzes, it is possible to draw scientific conclusions about the\nimpact of the social media factor on the formation of social relations in society.\n
