FEATURES OF THE PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL SPHERE IN PATIENTS WITH COVID-19, DEPENDING ON THE SEX

280 patients with COVID-19 were examined (average age 53.9±8.1 years; gender index 1.37:1.0 (162 men and 118 women). It was revealed that anxiety and depressive disorders were almost necessarily present in the examined patients with COVID-19, especially in women. The high frequency of these clinical syndromes in patients with COVID-19, their definite pathogenetic relationship with morphological changes in the brain in COVID-19, as well as the psychogenies experienced by patients, allows us to consider them as comorbid states of this disease.\n\n
