Ultrasound examination in the recognition of pelvic tumors is of particular importance, because the clinical picture of many diseases is identical, and the data of gynecological examination are nonspecific. Under these conditions, ultrasound is the basis of the diagnostic process, the results of which depends on the fate of the patient. This publication presents statistical data on the prevalence of this disease, as well as methods of its early diagnosis and the role of ultrasound in this process. Building capacity for early cancer detection is an important cancer control strategy at all levels of the health care system, ensuring universal coverage and accessibility of health care. Capacity building is based on the basic principles of health services delivery, which include: empowering all stakeholders and their active involvement in the care process, increasing the literacy of the population in health issues, ensuring the availability of primary care and diagnostic services, including pathological confirmation of the diagnosis, clear mechanisms for referring patients, coordinating care and receiving appropriate treatment in a timely manner
