Abstract: This article discusses the artistic image and expressiveness in the text. The artistic image in the text is divided into several components. It is known that pictorial means are an important part of a work of art, an artistic image. Therefore, in the works devoted to the study of the language of a work of art, of course, the means of illustration are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the author's individual style of visual aids, and it is advisable to distinguish between them belonging to a private author.
