Audit of ultrasonic examination for the diagnosis of acute appendicitis retrospective study

Annotatsiya

This retrospective study included 242 of 286 patients who had an appendix ultrasound examination between June 1 and December 31, 2021. The following were reviewed: ultrasound report, pathology report, and clinical records. The pathology report has been used as the gold standard for diagnosing acute appendicitis.
