Actual contact area of fibrous weight

The article presents the results of studies to study the effect of quality indicators of pulp on the actual contact area during frictional interaction with a structural polymer material. On the basis of theoretical studies using model schemes of interaction of the surface with the counter body, the dependence of the effect of the actual contact area on the surface roughness of the material and the properties of the cotton fiber during their frictional interaction was established, where the main external factors in the real contact surface of the polymer-cotton pair are the properties of the material depending on pressure in the contact zone and sliding speed when cotton moves on the surface of the test material and its dependence on the state of the tribotechnical process.
