The principles of studying myths and legends in English and Uzbek languages

AbstractIt is well known that the method of comparative research is now widely popularized in linguistics. One of the features of this research method is that linguistic differences and similarities are identified by comparing two languages of different origins. In this article, we discuss in detail the principles of the study of myths and legends in the two languages, English and Uzbek, which reflect the culture, history, ancient way of life of the two peoples, specific to the English and Uzbek languages.
