<em>The article examines the priorities of sustainable and efficient use of pasture lands in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, on the example of the karakul industry, a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the issues of maintaining the ecological and natural environment of desert-pasture areas, restoration and development of biodiversity. Scientific proposals and practical recommendations on the methodological basis of the placement of wells in pastures and their effective use have been proved by mathematical methods.</em>
