The purpose of the ongoing judicial reforms to ensure reliable protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens in criminal proceedings, as well as to further strengthen citizens' confidence in justice, is to ensure the principle of "a person, his rights and freedoms are the highest value."
