Salivary glands function in the body, perform a number of complex functions, including taking part in the metabolism, affecting various processes of homeostasis Now the incidence of inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of the salivary glands is increasing and is about 30% of the total number of diseases of the salivary gland. In the practice of surgical dentistry, however, this disease is at a relatively higher level – from 3 to 24% to threeraydi . Among them, the percentage of inflammatory (sialadenitis) and dystrophic (sialadenosis) processes is more than 50%.
