At the same time, among the teachers of higher education, there is an opinion that critical thinking of students is formed in the educational process automatically, and it reaches the highest level in professional activity only as a result of many years of experience. But practice and research do not confirm a direct relationship between the length of service of a specialist and the level of formation of critical thinking.
