Annotatsiya

Objective: Retrospective analysis of the results of surgical treatment of complicated cataracts in arthritis. Methods: 2019 to 2021 we operated on 64 eyes in 60 patients with a history of chronic uveitis. Among them, 38 men and 26 women aged 5 to 74 years (average 36.6). Results: No intraoperative complications were observed when using this technology. In the early postoperative period, regardless of the severity of the initial clinical picture, restoration of the correct anatomical relationships took place in all cases (Fig. 1, 2). On days 1-2 after the operation, the visual acuity with correction was: above 0.5 - in 48 eyes (43.2%), 0.2-0.5 - in 38 eyes (34.2%), below 0.2 - in 25 eyes (22.6%). Conclusions. The developed method of ultrasonic phacoemulsification of cataracts with preliminary synechiotomy, formation of posterior capsulorhexis, partial vitrectomy and implantation of an intraocular lens into the capsule bag with supporting elements allows to achieve good anatomical results.
