Annotatsiya

Objective: to evaluate the values of the excitability threshold and its significance in complex drug therapy in patients with a mandibular fracture with damage to the inferior alveolar nerve. Methods: The study included 200 patients with post-traumatic neuritis of the inferior alveolar nerve after a mandibular fracture. The value of the excitability threshold before and after complex drug treatment was studied. Results: A significant relationship was found between the threshold of excitability and damage to the inferior alveolar nerve, and it is possible to observe the positive dynamics of treatment in the early stages. Conclusions. Our results show that in all four zones, the values of electrical excitability decreased in patients as part of complex therapy. After 6 months of treatment with mild and moderate damage to the lower alveolar nerve, the indicators of electrical excitability significantly decreased (p < 0.05) and did not exceed the normal readings in the study groups.
