BIOETHICS AS A FORM OF PROTECTION OF INDIVIDUALITY AND PERSONALIZED MEDICINE

Abstract. The article deals with issues related to the problem of theoretical and practical relationship between bioethics and personalized medicine. The fragmentation of approaches in this matter prevents the formation of adequate ideas about the essence of personality, which is the subject area of this new direction. The absolutization of the genetic component explicates individuality, but eliminates personality in the scientific research of personalized medicine. It is possible to compensate for the shortcomings of this approach, thanks to the bioethical reflection of a new direction in medicine.
