METHODOLOGICAL BASES OF ACTIVITY ASSESSMENT OF STATE CIVIL SERVANTS IN SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCHES

This article is devoted to integrated approaches of assessing the characteristics of public civil service through sociological research, i.e. a sociological assessment of the activities of civil servants in the process of organizing and implementing the public service, the importance of social research in the further development of relations between the public civil service and the public, a sociological assessment of the problems and prospects of the public civil service at the theoretical and empirical levels (object, subject and methods). The scientific approaches of some foreign and local scientists in relation to the issues under consideration have been analyzed. Also, the importance of a sociological assessment of the activities of civil servants in the constant development of relationships between them and the public, improving the efficiency of civil servants and making the right decisions in the civil service is highlighted. The sociological study of the public civil service contributes to the creation of stable relations between public administration and the public, based on mutual understanding.
