The aim of this study is to introduce ‘the applied nature education program’ in the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Nizomiy Tashkent State Pedagogical University. First and second year teacher candidates of biology teaching undergraduate program participate in this program. It is held in a natural area of Uzbekistan, which is rich in endemic species. In this program called “O'quv Dala Amaliyati”, it is aimed to develop teacher candidates’ skills in observing nature, recognizing animals and plants, collecting and protecting samples from nature, preparing collections, exhibiting and analyzing. The content of the applications consists of two basic parts as botanical and zoological applications. Both parts include developing methods of observing species, collecting living things, preparing collections, displaying, fixing and preserving. During the 21-day field trips, teacher candidates divide into groups to observe, collect materials and learn how to record them in the field. All observations and process practices are regularly recorded in the field diary by the participants. The last days of the nature program are reserved for presentations and evaluations. At this stage, they share and discuss their work with other groups and faculty members. At the same time, they have the opportunity to develop their life skills with the social and cultural activities that take place during this program.
