FREE ECONOMIC ZONES IN THE TERRITORY OF THE LOWER ZARAFSHAN: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

The article highlights the issues of building an open economy in Uzbekistan, the implementation of deep structural changes and the country’s involvement in global integration processes through the creation of economic zones. The state policy is analyzed, focused on the gradual reorientation of export policy from the export of raw materials to the export of high value-added products, an increase in the inflow of foreign investment in strategically important enterprises, as well as in the private sector of the economy. On the basis of source materials, the development of economic zones in the territory of Bukhara and Navoi regions is analyzed
