ANALYSIS OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF THE NEW CORONAVIRUS INFECTION (COVID-19)

When determining the socio-economic significance of a new coronavirus infection, the main approach is to assess the social and economic damage of the disease, taking into account the cost of all treatment and diagnostic measures. In this research, when calculating economic indicators, values were chosen that include the costs of outpatient care, hospitalization, diagnostics and treatment. When calculating, the cost of each undertaken event was multiplied by the frequency of its implementation. As a result of the study, the economic efficiency of diagnostic and treatment measures for COVID19 in the studied patients aged 18 to 65 years was evaluated.
