TERRITORIAL FEATURES OF THE LOCATION OF THE KUSHITANGTOG KISHLAKS AND THE ETHNIC COMPOSITION OF THE POPULATION

In the late XIX – early XX centuries. kishlaks Kuhitangtog were part of the Darband, Khatak and Poshkhurd amlyakdarstvos of Baysun beystvo. The main water sources, irrigated and rainfed lands of Mount Kuhitang are located in the Khataksoy, Poshkhurdsoy and Korizot valleys. In the first half of the twentieth century, due to the dense population of mountain villages, by the government, residents were often relocated to new developed lands. This article describes the territorial features of the location of the villages of Kuhitangtog and the ethnic composition of the population.
