PROBLEMS AND DEFECTS IN THE ELECTRORAL SYSTEM OF THE TURKESTAN REGION AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 20 TH CENTURY

This article describes the injustices in the elections held on the territory of the region, after the colonization of Turkestan by the Russian Empire, the falsification of elections, violations of the law and the conduct of elections at an inadequate level. It also describes the dissatisfaction of residents with the elections, the non-election of candidates nominated by local residents, the problems and shortcomings of the funds allocated for the elections.
