FEATURES OF THE IMPACT OF HIGHER EDUCATION ON THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Along with human resources and capital, lifelong education in general, in particular higher education, can have a significant impact on the economic growth of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This article examines the problems and achievements of educational and innovation systems, as well as their role in stimulating economic growth in Uzbekistan. The results of the study revealed a relationship between the number of highly qualified personnel with higher education and economic growth in Uzbekistan. An assessment of the regression with GDP growth as a dependent variable and the number of graduates, costs per graduate, and the accumulated average year of study as independent variables revealed a relationship between higher education and economic growth in Uzbekistan.
