In the article, comments on the formation of the skills of understanding, understanding and reacting to the text, not limited to memorizing the text and repeating poems, are described in the lessons of the mother tongue and reading literacy. It is shown on the basis of examples that the lessons organized on the basis of memorization and repetition do not give anything to the students, if the role of primary education is understood correctly, the importance of the lessons taught by the teacher will increase.
