KYRGYZ HISTORIOGRAPHY IN THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, all fifteen states within the USSR gained independence, both internally and externally. This, in turn, has led to a reconsideration of views on the creation of national history, in order to fully understand this, it is important to get acquainted with the work on the issue of national history in the years of independence. In this article, we will try to look at the trends in the history of the Kyrgyz people after 1991.
