Technological schemes for open pit mining of mineral deposits show the reduce of costs by diminishing the distance of transportation. The development of fundamentally new types of technological schemes includes the division of the mining front into sections, the mining of sections with overburden benches that wed out to the mineral layer, and mining benches with the placement of rocks in the tiers of internal dumps and the advancement of the dump front after the mining of the benches.
