Annotatsiya
In the paper, the effect of height on short circuit current density J <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">sc</inf> , open circuit voltage Voc, fill factor FF, and efficiency of the silicon vertical solar cell with two p-n junctions connected by tunnel junction is investigated by 2D simulations. The distribution of the electron density along the base height for solar cells with different heights is analyzed. It is shown that the efficiency dependence on the height of the vertical solar cell has non-monotonic behavior. It is attributed to the competing impact of the different parts of the base along the height which have different contributions to the generation of carriers.
