Features of operation of water-oil refrigerators

The improvement of the technical and economic indicators of various cryogenic plants is largely determined by the possibilities for improving the turboexpander units. In practice, effective turboexpanders with a reliable vibration- resistant rotor stabilization system are widely used due to the use of hydrostatic bearings. Hydrostatic bearings are cooled with transformer or turbine oil supplied (cooled) with a pressure of up to 3.0 MPa. The heated oil is cooled in oil-water coolers.
