Heat treatment of non-hardened aluminum alloys
Annotatsiya
The study of the phase composition and nanostructure of secondary aluminum alloys showed a new effect of the hardening of aluminum-magnesium alloys. The possibility of hardening this group of alloys after quenching and subsequent aging, which belong to the thermally not hardened aluminum alloys group, has been experimentally proved. The paper studies the possibility of increasing the strength properties of model alloys such as foundry magnals and alloys prepared from scrap and waste, which, according to the existing classification, belong to the group of thermally not hardened alloys. It was found that the presence in the structure of alloys of phases (Mg, Si, Sn, Pb), (Fe, Mn, Cu, Ni) Al3, S (Al, Cu, Mg, Ni), and β (Al3Mg2) makes it possible to increase the strength properties of alloys by 15 - 20% after quenching from a temperature of 510 ° C, holding for 10 hours and subsequent two-stage aging at 100 ° C, 4 hours+160 ° C, 2 hours for model alloys and 1000 ° C, 4 hours+2000 ° C, 3 hours - for industrial alloys.
