The author discusses the individual characteristics of the persons who commit banditry, the unique features of their victims, the places where banditry often occurs, the criminogenic situation, and the methods of committing the crime. The author also presents the opinions of scholars on the forensic classification of banditry and engages in scientific debate on this topic.
