REFERENDUM – AN IMPORTANT MILESTONE IN THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF CIVIL SOCIETY AND THE STRENGTHENING OF THE RULE OF LAW IN UZBEKISTAN

The article shows the importance of the position of citizens in making decisions on the most important issues of the public and state life of the country through active and direct participation in the referendum. The referendum as one of the forms of effective public influence and control over the implementation of ongoing reforms, the activities of state bodies. The held nationwide referendum is the most important stage in the further development of civil society, as well as the strengthening of the rule of law in New Uzbekistan.
